Welcome to the board! I'm glad you finally joined, especially if you've been reading for the board for months. Just think, we've been missing out on your input for weeks now! So jump right in.

Havimom and I met in November. We worked up a great American girl trade as she was looking for Bitty Baby items and she had a Josefina doll that was basically new as she had just returned from the hospital with a new head. Josefina was my DD's Christmas gift and she just loves her! At the time I told Havimom about the Board as well as gave her some 'codes' to use with AG. Welcome and I'm glad you are here! - Meg B.

Welcome to another AG friend!
My story begins just the same as yours - bought Felicity for my youngest daughter for Christmas 1993. Then we bought her AG3 for her 11th birthday (Feb. 1995), and outfits for both dolls for her birthdays and Christmases all the way through high school. Several months after Judy left for college, I was looking for something in her closet and found her dolls; I just had to get them out and change their clothes and do their hair, you know! My husband walked past the open bedroom door, saw what I was doing, and asked if I needed a doll. I think I surprised us both when I said yes! So he bought me my first one (AG 21), and I discovered AG on eBay where I bought a few more.
I now have 10 historicals, 6 Today girls, and all 4 Limited Editions. My granddaughters think I am the funnest Grandma ever, and love to come over and play dolls!

Wow! Thank you all for your warm welcomes. Can't wait to tell my mother about Jeanette M.'s RHS chapter, my mom's a red hatter also. Do you take your dolls on the outings? Dressed in colors?

Welcome! I first got involved with AG in 1993, also! Our DD got her first doll, Samantha, when she was six. She and I collected together for several years. When she was done, I put her dolls away. I collected other types of dolls, and finally had to give into the fact that I still loved collecting AG. I sold my other dolls and put the money right back in to AG. I love it...now if only my DD would decide to collect again!
Thanks for sharing your story...I loved reading it!
